UPDATE 03

I’m thrilled to share what may feel like a tiny update but is huge to us: Jack has an appointment with a neurosurgeon! We’ll be meeting with the top team at Banner in Phoenix Thursday morning.

Another shoutout to our dear friends Dr. Ali and Dr. Joey. Without them we would have no idea what’s happening in Jack’s head and Jack would be in a much more vulnerable place with his hydrocephalus.

To lean into our motto of ‘you’re in control of your experience’, distract ourselves, and enjoy the time we have before things start really moving, we’ve been bopping around Phoenix as much as Jack is able within his tolerance of pain. We’ve visited bookstores, chatted with psychics, wandered around the Phoenix Art Museum, ate at multiple pizza spots, lazed in the backyard hammock, and are doing our very best not to complain about the desert valley heat!
