UPDATE 09

Here with lots of updates!

Jack celebrated his birthday on Monday and his surgery got moved up to Tuesday (yesterday). So happy to report it was successful!

Prior to the surgery, the labs came back as inconclusive, meaning they’re still not sure what the tumor is. During the surgery, Dr. Z created a hole to drain the fluid that has been causing Jacks awful headaches and nausea (this addressed the hydrocephalus) and also grabbed a piece of the tumor to send off for a biopsy.

Jack is stable and recovering in the ICU!
Now we await lab results to inform next steps.
